I usually end up using a spatula to lift the cake off the tin after I run a knife around it. That works for me.

I insert a circle of parchment paper before i pour in the cake batter. Works great and release is very easy.

Nice video! This is the most frustrating part of cheesecake making for me!

I’m no expert but I place aluminum foil on the bottom of the springform, leaving extra folded underneath. After the cake is baked and refrigerated, release the springform, unfold the extra foil and use it to bring the cake off the bottom of the pan, then slide the cake off the foil.

I destroyed the bottoms of several cheesecakes before I came up with that technique. It works for me, anyway
